These Terms and Conditions govern the use of this website and the purchase of artwork, prints, and commissioned pieces from Katie Bourne Fine Art (“we”, “us”, “our”).

By accessing this website or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you should not use this website.

1. About Us

“Katie Bourne Fine Art” refers to the artist and business trading under this name in the United Kingdom. All artwork is offered subject to availability and these Terms.

2. Pricing & Orders

  • All prices are shown in GBP (£).
  • Prices may change at any time but will not affect confirmed orders.
  • We reserve the right to refuse or cancel orders at our discretion.
  • An order is only confirmed once payment has been received in full.

3. Artwork Description

  • All original artworks are one-of-a-kind unless otherwise stated.
  • Prints are reproductions of original artwork and may vary slightly in colour.
  • Frames and display items are included only when explicitly stated.

4. Copyright & Intellectual Property

All artwork, images, and content remain the intellectual property of Katie Bourne Fine Art under UK copyright law.

You may not copy, reproduce, resell, or use any artwork or content commercially without written permission. Purchasing artwork does not transfer copyright ownership.

5. Commissions (Bespoke Artwork)

  • A non-refundable deposit may be required before work begins.
  • Commission details (size, subject, style, timeframe) will be agreed in writing.
  • Progress images may be shared during the process.
  • Full payment is required before dispatch.
  • Commissioned works are non-refundable unless faulty or not as agreed.

6. Katie Bourne Fine Art – Delivery and Returns

I provide FREE shipping on all orders over £100.

Your painting(s) will be dispatched within 7 working days. I ship worldwide using either Royal Mail Tracked or Parcelforce Tracked services.

  • UK orders are typically delivered within 2–3 working days after dispatch
  • International deliveries may take longer depending on destination and customs processing

For prints, please allow up to 10 working days from the date of order to delivery.

I will keep you updated throughout the process and will send you an email once your order has been dispatched.

Returns

I hope you love your chosen artwork. However, if you change your mind, please email me within 14 days to arrange a return.

Artwork must be returned in its original condition (including the original frame if purchased framed) to be eligible for a full refund.

  • Customers are responsible for return shipping costs
  • Items must be sent using a reputable, tracked delivery service

Please note:

  • I am unable to accept returns of prints
  • I cannot accept returns of original artwork from outside the UK at this time

Damaged Items

Every piece is carefully packaged to ensure it arrives safely. In the unlikely event your artwork arrives damaged, please take clear photographs of:

  • The damaged packaging
  • The artwork itself

Then email these within 7 days of delivery so I can assist you.

A Note on Colour

While every effort has been made to display artwork as accurately as possible, colours may vary slightly depending on your screen or device. Digital images cannot always fully capture the richness of pigments—particularly vibrant tones such as neon pinks and oranges, which may appear differently in person.

7. Liability

We are not liable for delays outside our control or minor variations in colour between digital images and physical artwork. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability where it cannot legally be excluded under UK law.

8. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the website constitutes acceptance of any changes.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
